Nowadays is the first AI-powered platform for planning corporate events. Our software handles everything from venue sourcing to vendor negotiations, making it easier and faster for teams to meet up in real life.

💼What You'll Do
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work on the foundational platforms and systems—both frontend and backend—that enable us to build a high-quality product at scale.
- •Build our core technical foundations, including our frontend architecture and backend APIs.
- •Optimize for performance and reliability across the full stack, from databases to the frontend.
- •Contribute to our core AI engine, helping develop our automation models.
- •Improve engineering tooling and developer experience to increase team velocity.
- •Enable Product Engineers by building the robust components and APIs they need.

We're looking for passionate and curious students who are excited to learn, build, and make an impact.
- •You are a current student or new grad pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field with a graduation date of December 2026 or earlier.
- •You have experience building projects with technologies like React, Next.js, Node.js, or Python (class or personal projects are great!).
- •You have foundational knowledge of SQL databases.
- •You take pride in your work and are motivated to learn and grow.
- •You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- •You are a strong teammate who enjoys solving problems together.

- •Interest in or experience with AI/ML models.
- •Previous internship or project experience in a startup environment.

📝Position Details
Timeline
The internship runs during the Spring (starting early Feb), for at least 1 month with an opportunity to extend.
Full-Time Opportunity
This internship has the potential to convert to a full-time offer upon graduation.
Compensation & Housing
We offer a competitive package that includes a generous housing stipend or company-covered housing, plus commuter benefits.
Commitment
This is a full-time (at least 40 hours/week), fully in-person role at our San Francisco office.
